Happy Birthday Jordyn.  I hope you and Lindsay are celebrating today.

Thank you Lord.  I have my grandson and my son in my house together with all of us tonight. 
As I sat in court today, with my "muslin" with He has Risen inscribed on  it (from church on Sunday) and just worrying about how this was all going to turn out, I prayed.  I didn't pray that we get everything we wanted, I just prayed that what was right and just as far as Aiden is concerend be done. 
The judge dismissed all allegations against my son.  Protective services said there was no evidence of abuse going on anywhere.  Mother's home or father's home, Praise the Lord.
The orginal order of visitation was upheld and we have my grandson here tonight.  We are a happy family.

An addition

I would also like to add that I think that Aiden's mom is a good mom.  She has been a part of my life for many years and I do love her.  I didn't just stop loving her because my son and her broke up.  I didn't start loving her because she was with my son. I love a person for that person not because of the realtioship they have with a family member of mine.  I just don't like the fact that she wants to take her son away from a life that he has know "forever, his forever" to something that he knows nothing about.  Being a parent is not easy.

Have your brothers or sisters ever told you that you were adopted?  This is seriously a family joke!!!  My brother was the baby of five, the first four were girls,  you gotta know we told him he was adopted!  My sister (hateful thing that she is, Just joking) used to babysit for us and she told my brother he was adopted and that they needed to come take him back.  She had one of her friends come knock on the door and say they were here to take him back.  My brother hid under the bed till my mother came home and YES my sister was in serious trouble

OH yes someone did, my stepdaughter made me a monkey cuz she knows I love them, but she sleeps wit it!!!  LOL  Aiden made a bunny a few months ago with my husband (papa) and he loves that bunny, his name is Rabbit Johnson.  I just love that little boy (Aiden not the bunny)

What's something fun you did today? I watched Aiden wake up his dad and look for his Easter basket. My son, my grandson, together, LOVE!

I hope everyone had a Blessed Easter.  I had family and friends around me so the day was Blessed.

Some things were ugly though.  I know you all know I have a grandson, Aiden,  whom I love with all my heart.  Aiden was here this weekend with us.  It was the first time I have seen Aiden in almost a month.

I had protective services at my house this past week.  Investigating us.  Us is..........my son, Aiden's dad, my husband and me.  They went to my house,  Aiden's mothers house, and my son's (aiden's dad) house.  Aiden's mother claimed he was abused during visitation.  You know this is really hard to write about since everyone reading this does not "really" know me.  Which makes it sooooooooooooo hard to write about.  Aiden is not abused ANYWHERE!!  I hate the fact that Aiden's Mom and Dad are not longer together.  Aiden's mom is married to a man that is in the service and lives in a state that we don't live in.  I hate the fact that Aiden's mom wants to take him away to  that state so she can be with her husband.  My son has been to court to stop Aiden from moving so far away from him and has won his court case.  Aiden is to stay in this state.  Aiden's mother can move but Aiden can not.  Now this.  Why would someone bring up false claims of abuse to a child???  Why would someone stop a child from being with his/her father, if the father wanted to be a part of the childs life?????  Why would someone lie to a child's father and say that the father wanted nothing to do with the child if the father really did want to see the child??  I know this is making not much sense.  To make a long story short, why would a parent, father or mother, want to take rights away from the other parent if they knew that (deep down) the child really was loved and cared for? 

I have been though this myself.  I have an ex husband who is an alcholic.  I have had him come to my house drunk and wanting his kids.  That is the ONLY time I denied him visitation, cuZ he could not drive!!  Why would you stop a child from seeing his father/mother if you really knew he was not being abused?  Would you deny it just so you could move?  Would  you deny visitation for revenge? 

Ahhhhhhh my heart hurts.  My son is a good father.  He does not abuse his son.  Aiden loves to see us.  He loves to visit.  Why does it have to come to this?  Why does it have to come to a fight?  I don't get it.  Wednesday is court.  I know that you so not know me in "real life" and I do not know if you belive in the power of prayer,  but I do.  Please pray that "what if right for Aiden" comes to fruition. 

Off to the gym we go

This is me as a warrior!  That is what I am turning into!  A workout warrior!  Tuesday night, Kristen and I went to check out some gym memberships that would be good for the whole family.  I had already belonged to one that was on a month to month basis that I am now going to give up since we have now joined one that all of us can go to.  We ended up joining the YMCA. Let me tell you these new YMCA's are not your old ones!  The one we joined is BEAUTIFUL.  It has every kind of weight machine and free weights and cardio machines you can think of.  They also have lots of aerobic classes that you can take also, along with yoga, pilates and boot camp!  (I want to do that boot camp one!)  The boys are all very excited about joining cuz now they will be able to go play basketball and swim if they want to also.  They can also work out in the weight area.  I have to say that I was also very impressed with the price.  It was very reasonable considering there are 6 of us in the family.  It would work out to less than $10 each a month.  Mark and I are going tonight at 5:30 to have our little tour of the weight machine area and to have our selves set up with the fitlinx system.  I just loved this idea and I can't wait to get set up with it.  You sign into the main computer in the room and then each machine (weight or cardio) you use, you sign your number into it and it records everything  you do into your fitlinx.  You can pull up a weeks worth of what you did or a month or a year.  I love it!  I can't wait to get set up with it.  Kristen had her little class with it last night, she is only able to use the cardio machines until she is 13 and then she will have to take a class on how and which weights she can use.  She was very excited about being able to use the stationary bikes!  So we will all be able to head off to the Y whenever we want now.  And hey, I only work one job now and have the time in the evening to work out so I will be looking awesome in no time!  BTW  I have lost 15 pounds since starting to train for the marathon!  Bikini here I come!!!

HELLO!!!

Here is John and Josh on thier 18th birthday!  They were so funny at thier party!  Look at these two, I can't believe they are going to go to different colleges in just a few months.  I don't think they have been seperated from each other for more than one night in thier lives!  I just hope they do ok.

Here is me and Linda in Flordia.  We had such a good time together!  She had no idea that I was coming to see her.  Her husband, my husband and I arranged it and it worked out perfectly!  It was so good to see her.  It was in the 70's while I was there which seemed like heaven since it is has only been in the teens, twentys and thirtys here!  I even took a pic of her husband mowing the lawn because I haven't seen a lawn mower in months!  I got to see her brothers and her sister.  I haven't seen her brother Danny in 12 years so it was cool to see him!  We went the beach one day while I was there and there were lots of people already out there in thier suits tanning and swimming!  I was amazed cuz I didn't think it was warm enough to go in the water but I guess it was.  It was a great trip and one that I think I am going to have to make more often.
I made a big decision right before I left to go on vacation though. I decided that I need to quit my 2nd job.  I have been there for over 2 years and I orginally started working thier so we could camp for free there.  Lately it was a huge burden to go to work there after I had finished my job at the hospital.  I never had enough time to workout or do much of anything.  So I decided to quit that job.  Thursday was my last night there.  I was very happy yesterday morning when I didn't have to get up and go to work and be able to do my laundry a little slower.  I could divide it up over a few days instead of doing it all one day.  I am sure that I am going to enjoy it alot more this week to!  I am going to be able to work out more often and have the time to do it consistently.  I am looking forward to it! Maybe even more time to journal! That will be nice!
Well I am off to the gym now.

On my way home

I know you all have probably been wondering where I have been, or maybe not!  But I have been in Florida.  I couldn't say anything about it because it was a surprise for my best friend Linda.  Remember the one from the Talladega race?  Well anyways we pulled the surprise off and it was awesome.  I have been able to spend some wonderful time with her but today is my last day here.  I will be going home.  Happy to see my family again but sad that I am leaving her.  I only have to wait till October for the Talladega race though and then I will be able to see her again.  I will post pics and all that fun stuff when I get home and get settled back into my rountine!
