Ok I admit it.....

I admit it.  I love love stories.  I know I told you all that I was reading a book and I just could not get into it.  I really tried to like it, I swear I did.  The book was a book by the name of "Magic Hour"  the author is "Susan Isaacs".  A murder mystery.   I know that the book is a good one because I did not want to put it down but I just could not get into it.   Just not my kind of book.  I read 130 pages of 450 page book and still was not into it.  I swear I tried but it just wasn't there for me.  So tonight when I came home I read a few pages and said  "this isn't me".  Set the book down and went and picked a book out of my pile (and yes I do mean PILE)  Hummmm....Danielle Steele....... I could feel the vibes of goodness (LOL) as soon as I picked it up...."Message from Nam" .......................I swear to you, I tried to reform.............I tried to love or at least LIKE  a different type of book but I am hooked........and I am only on page 17!!!  I must leave you all to go read.................

I say, whatever you want to read, whatever grabs your interest, go for it! I've found that it's fun to read things that you wouldn't normally read, but my favorites are still books by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, etc.

I think I've read most every Danielle Steele book and always enjoy them.  Susan Isaacs is good, but I'm not always in a mood for mystery.  Enjoy the book!

I like Danielle Steele; her books are always great to read when you just have a few minutes a day to read because they are easy to read, easy to get into the story, easy to figure out the story, LOL and good plots! I'm with you; sometimes a book is just not what appeals to us; better to put it aside and get to something we enjoy; I love love stories too! current modern day fiction is my favorite (after the Bible of course :)

I think if you have read over a quarter of a book and you are disenterested you should get another one.  Hope you have a happy weekend. : )

You are too cute....hehe.  My husband Marv, & You could be best buds,  because if he has less than 10 books in his "to read" pile at any given time, he freaks out and we MUST make an emergency run to Barnes & Nobles :)

Enjoy your book!

Thanks for visiting my journal.  Now I know why you and Beth read each other, it is because you both have book piles <LOL> :o)
